Invoice template formatting question (U.S. postal addresses)
  • JLoftusJLoftus January 2010

    Currently the U.S postal address layout in the invoice is as follows:

    {NAME}
    {ADDRESS}
    {CITY}, {ST}, {ZIP}

    I would like to edit this such that there is no comma between the state abbreviation and the zip code. What must I edit to accomplish this?

    Thanks

    hey jloftus

    in the invoice template directory ./templates/invoices/default - there should be a plugins directory - in there will be a smarty/php file called to_tr_address or something similar - this file is the one that puts in commas etc.. in the address

    sorry - don;t have access to svn at the moment to give you correct file names and paths

    let us know how you go

    cheers

    Outstanding - that worked a treat!

    function.merge_address.php is the file I needed, editing this file produced precisely the desired result!

    Thanks,

    Jeff
