create new biller

    just installed simple invoices 2010.1 but i can't create a new biller. i click the add biller button and fill the form, click save and it says new biller created. However, when it loads what should be the next page it doesn't show any billers just back to the message saying "no billers added, please click add new biller..." just realized it says hello demo@simple invoices.org how do i change that. any thoughts?

    my workaround has been to enter data manually in phpmyadmin because the table was created just empty. as for the demo account i got that figured out, needed to turn on authentication in config file.

    re create biller
    - hmm.. any chance you can review the mysql log file - assuming mysql logging is enabled
    -- would like to see if it spits out any errors on our insert

    i'm back been a crazy week. can't remember if I turned on mysql loggin. will get back to you. i'm running mysql 5.1.42 on windows. is there a specific log file or just the hostname.err file?

    re mysql log
    - on linux its /var/log/mysql/mysql.log
    - edit the my.cnf file to turn it on and specify the location
