I think that who writes about SI, must know very well the application.
That is not the case.
In Cons we see that you don't know SI.

Competitors?
Well, try all of them. Then appreciate Si as the future in Simple and Power Invoices.

Siwapp - stopped along time ago - lots of bugs
BambooInvoice - has a structural bug from the beginning impossible to correct now. The developer doesn't accept contributions like Justin. That will kill BambooInvoice. I'm sure.
MyClientBase - well... is very fast but... no search, no reports enough...
Ofuz - is an online application, nobody can have it on it's own server the way witch one wants. It out of the list of competitors.

- No currency

we have a very simple approach to this - just edit the invoice preference you want to use and set the currency symbol there - Simple Invoices is not an acccounting app so no currency conversion non-sense here :)

- No discounts capability

you can setup a negative tax and apply that to an invoice or line items
- can be $ or % based

- No online payments

the next release 2010.2 - which is in beta testing now - has support for paypal and eway
