Widgets for Simple Invoices

    Simple Invoices Widget

    I've been tinkering with Widgets lately (more like learning how they work and knocking up some small ones).

    It's got me thinking. Would there be a demand for a Simple Invoices widget of some sort? What would the widget show? Perhaps Invoices that are still owing? Or Customer information?

    Would love to hear some of your thoughts on this.

    I think this is a great idea!

    widgets that i think would be useful

    1 - invoices outstanding
    2 - total invoiced this period (week, month, etc..)

    what widgets would everyone else find useful?

    Hell yeah! For me it would require being able to edit open (draft) invoices.

    I would use a widget to start and stop a timer, then round up to minimum hour portion and add to an open invoice or create a new invoice if there wasn't one already open for that job/customer.

    im thinking about doing a timesheet style thing for Simple Invoices
    - but using google calendar as the time tracking section
    - and Simple Invoices to read the data from google calendar and create invoices from it

    and im sure there would be some form of google calendar timer widget available already
    - so if and when this happens your request should be done
