adding extra custom fields to customer

    Hi guys its a fantastic software but i stuck when i need some 25 custom fields for customer, i added some extra custom fields to customer i,e I have duplicated the fields and renamed them to customer_cf5 to customer_cf12 in the templates etc. Also I have added customer_cf5 to customer_cf12 si_custom_fields and custom_field5 to custom_field12 si_customers in the database.
    The fields shows up in the add customer page and edit customer page but instead of custom_field5 it is showing custom_field1 again
    whereas in settings->custom fields it showing correctly til custom_field9 and custom_field10 is diaplaying as custom_field 0 and similarly for biller i added 12 custom fields but only Biller :: Custom field 5 is showing which means only 25 custom fields are displaying.
    the next problem is the add customer is saving data in the data base correctly i checked in phpmyadmin BUT the problem is when i fetch the data for view customer or edit customer the data for the newly added custom fields is not displaying. where as it is displaying for the old ones shipped with the software.

    Hi Matt Thanks for the quick response
    I altered the files: include/sql_queries.php, include/class/customer.php, databases/mysql/structure.sql, lang/en_GB/lang.php, templates/default/customers/add.tpl, templates/default/customers/details.tpl. i uploaded the fileswhich i changed and and few screenshots here Altered Files
    i am customizing simpleinvoices for a friends boutique and try use as very small CRM by saving the details of her clients for which i need more than 25 custom fields BTW
    Guys you actually made the life easy for small / house office people.

    I've spent a few hours (as you obviously did) but I haven't nutted it out yet
    I haven't given up yet though. :)

    This is certainly possible, it is just a matter of how.

    I've only been a user for a month or so, so the structure is something I'm working my through.
