taxed + non-taxed items on same invoice

    hi. y'all are doing a GREAT job. big-ups to the whole simple invoices crew. i'm pretty new, so please bear with my newbie questions.

    a) how does one itemize both a product (taxable) and a service (non-taxable) on the same invoice, without writing it all out? For example, sales and installation often happen at the same time.

    and 2) keep up the good work.

    re taxed and non-taxed
    - theres no way to select different tax rates per item just yet - is planned
    - workaround: add the tax amount into the cost of the taxed product and select No Tax rate in the invoice
    -- this WONT show the correct tax included amount in the invoice
    --- you can edit the invoice template and remove references to total tax if it looks weird
    -- but it will create an invoice with the correct total
    -- maybe edit the product name to say Tax include/excluded
