Hello all,
I started my company, ccp/ip, llc three years ago. i do computers, networks and servers for small businesses, specializing in linux solutions. I started with quickbooks as that was the only way to make invoices but it SUCKED! since then i've used phpbms (not bad), then vtiger (WAY more than i needed). mind you i've been searching regularly for a simple invoicing program based on a lamp stack since i started and lo and behold, a week ago i found simpleinvoices! woohoo! i wish i could contribute to development, but when it comes to coding i'm like a dog watching tv...i see something interesting, but have NO IDEA what's going on. i do a lot of testing on servers though, so perhaps i could help test the install routine or something. at any rate, i'd like to help in any way possible, so please let me know if i can help!
Thanks Cpankonien
happy to hear Simple Invoices does what you need!!! and welcome to the Simple Invoices community
re what can you do to help
- answer: lots of things :)
-- if your a linux person - you can have a look at packaging Simple Invoices for Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, etc. and try and get the packages accepted into the main repos
-- other things are anserwing posts on the forum, writing documentation and other stuff on the wiki, write reviews of Simple Invoices on other download sites, blog about Simple Invoices, etc...
-- once we get closer to a release you can help out with testing
Anything you can do to help out would be greatly appreciated
Cheers
Justin
