Fatal error on sending mail [Issue:Open]

    Hi,

    Trying to send invoice by mail from invoices screen, I have the following error message :

    Fatal error: Call to undefined method FPDF::GetFontAscender() in /home/H2172/esquipulas.fr/gestion/include/pdf/output.fpdf.class.php on line 163


    I had before a problem with pdf export but fixed it changing the € symbol (not recognized) by Eu. word (not very fine but it works !). Anyway, sending mail is still a problem. Thanks for help.

    Hey Eric,

    try the latest release and let me know how you go

    theres been some updates to our PDF system

    also just found this on the tufat forum:

    Hello guys,

    First of all, congrats Justin, SimpleInvoices is a very nice piece of software.

    I just installed/configured it on a test machine running Windows and XAMPP. Everything seems to be working fine including PDF creation.

    BUT when trying to send one of the existing invoices by email, i get this error:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined method FPDF:ender() in C:\xampp\htdocs\simpleinvoices\library\pdf\output.fpdf.class.php on line 163


    I checked the tufat.com forum but i dont know how exactly that applies to us.


    About my test server:
    - XAMPP Version: 1.6.5
    - SimpleInvoices Version: 20070303 stable (i think there's a typo on the About page, should say 2008)

    Thanks Irahim,

    im just in the process of setting up xampp - so i'll give emailing a go and see if i get the same error

    just to confirm
    - making a PDF from a normal invoice works fine
    - its just when you attempt to use the email function when you get this error

    im still having dramas getting PDF to work in xampp

    though haven't looked to much at it yet

    anyone got PDF working in xampp?

    I have this same problem...I'm using XAMPP version 1.6.5.

    Both an older version and the newest version of SI, which I installed tonight, have the same problem: when trying to email, I get the error described above.

    SI is a wonderful program for us, except for this nagging problem; I'd love to get it fixed. :)
