Did that script work without issue ?
-D-
99% perfect - thanks again for the migration script!!
issues:
- user details - personal names didnt come through - think all set to UseBB user as first name
- discussions started stats for each user didnt come through - but thats doesn't matter to much
thanks again
- the important things all worked!!
-- all old posts, discussions, and categories came though
-- usernames and passwords migrated perfect!!
Now ive just got to finalise the theme, extensions and a few other things
Cheers

A fatal, non-recoverable error has occurred
Technical information (for support personel):
Error Message
Unable to send email. The SMTP server reported the following error:
Affected Elements
Email.ServerParse();
The error occurred on or near: 421 smtp1.servage.net Error: too many recipients from 77.232.68.30
For additional support documentation, visit the Lussumo Documentation website at: lussumo.com/docs
removed the Notify extension - so posts dont error now

Cheers
Justin
it does send emails - just the user gets the error listed in : http://simpleinvoices.org/forum/discussion/542/new-forum/#Item_5
will ask servage if they know anything about it
else i'll post on the vanilla forums
cheers
justin
I had auto subscribe on
- i thought that this would auto subscribe your to your posts - but it auto subscribes everyone to all posts (which is retarded)
- refer: http://lussumo.com/community/?CommentID=70078
I've turned that off now - and enabled Notify again - so should be all happy
- you'll now see a subscribe section on the left menu of a discussion
Cheers
Justin

just got to finish the theme and rss on front page issue and it'll be all done
cheers

like the clean look, but unifying the theme/header would be a bigger step forward.
Not to understate your efforts, but a coherent look across the website/wiki/blog and forum would greatly improve the project. I know it's a done discussion, and you've decided on a specific system for each (e.g. Vanilla forum, dokuwiki site, wordpress(?) blog) so I won't advocate an all-in-one (Drupal? Typolight?) here, but a common header would be great.
agreed Kai
been thinking about that today - will most likely mod this forum theme or the default vanilla theme to be inline with the header from simpleinvoices.org
by the way - the blog is drupal and i've been meaning to update its theme
- also dokuwiki is able to power blogs - might have a play around with its blogging abilities to see if ti can do what we need
-- just need to install the blog extension
Cheers
Justin
Hey Kai,
the header for this forum theme is now complete and consistent with simpleinvoices.org theme
its not Web2.0 style - but more importantly
- its
-- simple
-- clean
-- and puts the focus on content rather than flashy high-gloss design
next update - blog renovations
Cheers
