Simple Invoices - Forum

I'm new here and I thought I would introduce myself. I already posted a new discussion about a question I have in the support topic (not sure now if it was the right place) but hey, it's okay I'm new right? I'll do better next time.

I am a freelance TV producer and animator, and I am trying to find a better invoicing system for billing clients. All the other stuff out there is far too busy and complex for what I need, so I plan to learn a lot about .PHP and mysql to customize this thing exactly how I want. That way I have something I know how to use, and it has ONLY what I need.

Ideally I would like to add a time tracking function to bill by the hour, an iPhone interface and a client log-in function. Some of this looks like it's on the list already so hopefully I'm not the only one with these needs.

So thats my story. I'll keep track here to see how things progress. Thanks for a great app!
